Hello, beautiful people!
I have a question for you:
When you look at yourself, what do you see?
Do you focus on your flaws?
Do you wish for something—just a little more, or maybe a bit less?
A good hair or skin day? Or perhaps you overlook a pimple that decides to join your glory?
We’ve all been there, haven’t we?
Now, let’s try something different.
Lets try this shift in the way we look at ourselves each morning.
Let’s see through the eyes of love—the truth we all deserve to witness.
Notice the miracle that you are:
From a single cell to the most complex and efficient structure on planet - the human body!
It takes nine full months to form, nurtured with warmth, care and safety of mother’s womb.
Your body is extraordinary!
Now, look at those hands—
Hands with opposing thumbs, a uniquely human trait,
Allowing us to write, hold and fine-tune instruments and tools.
Those beautiful hands haven't they:
Helped countless others,
Created beauty, love, and order,
Donated generously,
Written poems and notes filled with love,
Comforted someone in your arms,
Raised, fed, and cared for a child,
Generated wealth for the well-being of yourself and others,
Tended flowers, plants, or a garden,
Painted joy, love, and beauty,
Healed the sick,
Cooked nourishing meals!
And performed so many other miracles.
How amazing is that?
Now, look at the lines on your face—
Each one a witness :
To a laughter from your heart,
To wisdom earned over the years,
To ever changing seasons yet you continue to glow with love.
Look at those beautiful eyes:
Eyes that have seen beauty and love,
That have shown compassion and empathy,
That have seen mountains, rivers, rainbows, the moon, the stars, and the sun.
Look at those lips-
That have sung and spoken words of love, strength, compassion, hope, and wisdom.
They have praised and appreciated.
What a gift!
Now, those beautiful feet:
They’ve danced in the rain,
Taken you to wonderful places
And kissed the Earth with grace.
Ah, it’s just light, light, and more light.
Look at that heart—beating love and light.
See that light from head to toe.
This human life—this human body—is a blessing!
Creating another human is the greatest miracle of all!
We all are here for very short time and in this time let's remember we are perfect.
No color, no fat, no muscle, no shape, no size, no wrinkle makes us any less—or any more.
It’s all your - and it’s the best.
So, Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Always show me this beauty- forever and to all.
Dedicated to all the beautiful beings around me.
