Every morning when I get up and as like compulsion of breathing air i first check my phone for inbox messages, and here Captain Ramesh never fails to let my spirits up. WITHOUT A MISS he sends me a WhatsApp Image of beautiful flower and a good morning quote at 6 am. So let me tell you how I met this wonderful person a year ago. Why did he took a special place??? Whose dedication and consistency just splashed beautiful colours to my life canvas!!!
So it was during one of the official VVIP visits where captain was flying a VVIP in his chopper. Now I, like everyone else was excited about meeting this so called VVIP. I never knew the day will turn out so beautiful even if I didn't meet VVIP but ended up having lunch with the captain and his colleagues .I was all dumbstruck with the mannerism of this gentlemen and was happy that this day was turning out so beautiful. The blue uniforms of this gentlemen made me go puppy eyed like every other girl! I wanted to click pics with this captain but was reluctant to ask them. Later after few minutes of internal battle I decided to go forward with it. But by that time captain and his colleagues had retreated to their waiting rooms. I went ahead and barged their space like a fan following his star, where I disturbed them to click photos with me. Eureka!!! Captain obliged plus he told me to accompany them to helipad where chopper was waiting so I can have a look at it. I was happy clicking photos and posing with them for some beautiful memories. We exchanged pleasantries and parted. Later through following days we shared photographs through electronic media.
Captain was very humble. He thought of me and his daughter in law resembled each other in appearance, though absolute strangers but from same city.Later captain invited me and my family to their family celebrations. From that day onwards till now my inbox always has a pleasant morning message from captain. Never he has missed a day. I must have missed many days in replying him. Just a simple gesture of forwarding a message brighten ups my day. I wonder even captain must be having many different days but he never forgets to lighten up our days with his positive messages. He must be unaware of the fact that through gloomy days these pleasantries exchanged by him just brighten ups my day. I dedicate my first blog here to him and his dedication. He taught me how a simple gesture can contribute to a person and a society so strongly and positively.Being consistent even in smallest things help us go long way. Through some days of loneliness and struggle his messages give me hope to stand and make my day a beautiful one.
